‘Urban Outfitters’, ‘Free People’ and ‘Sephora’ all wanted to carry ‘Maskcara IID Foundation’ in their stores. Cara had a very successful business and her ultimate goal was always getting into Sephora stores.
She had a negative viewpoint when it came to Direct Sales for a very long time. Cara’s sister mentioned to her that Maskcara needed more of a one on one selling experience, but still Cara says she didn’t feel like it was the fit she wanted for her company. It did however plant a seed. She continued on her plan to get into Sephora stores.
Over time Cara noticed other MLM companies that began changing her view on Direct Sales. Lularoe and Lipsense were a couple that she mentions. She was able to have first hand experience with sampling Lipsense and she decided that maybe this was the route to go after all.
She was talking with some friends who told her they were already sharing Maskcara with their friends because they loved it so much, they just weren’t getting paid to share it. She realized that these girls were responsible for others Maskcara experiences.
Cara then had a very easy decision to make. Pay a good portion of her profits to a retailer…..or to a bunch of women who love Maskcara? Hmmm….
Cara is a very genuine person who wants other women to enjoy financial freedom by sharing the products they love. So in January, Cara announced she was going to launch Maskcara as a Direct Sales opportunity.
The company is currently in pre-launch. The official ‘Launch Party’ will be in August and I am so excited to be going!!
